The University of South Australia Law School is pleased to announce a one-day workshop in memory of our colleague, Professor Ivan Shearer AM RFD.
The workshop will be held on Monday, 9 December 2019.
The workshop is open to all academics and practitioners with an interest in international law. We would particularly encourage submissions from early career academics, in recognition of Professor Shearer’s always generous mentorship of young scholars.
In addition to the academic presentations, the workshop will include personal reflections on Professor Shearer’s life from friends and family. The Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG is confirmed to open proceedings with his personal reflections on Professor Shearer’s life and career.
