Annual Conference

ANZSIL convenes an annual conference, held in Australia or New Zealand on a rotating basis. The annual conference has established itself as the principal gathering for international law scholars and practitioners in Australia and New Zealand.

The ANZSIL Annual Conference 2025 will be held at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia, from Wednesday 2 July 2025 to Friday 4 July 2025. The Theme is 'International Law: Silence, Forgetting and Remembrance' Information about the 2025 ANZSIL Conference Theme and Call for Papers is now available. The closing date for paper and panel proposal is 10 February 2025.

The Alice Edwards Breakthrough Researcher Award supports up to two early career researchers to present at the ANZSIL Annual Conference. Details on eligibility are provided in the link. The closing date for applications for the participation in the 2025 Conference is 10 February 2025.
